This is such a cool idea! I saw you wanted it to not be too hard.. but I don't know too much about how it is to create stuff like this of course. Maybe attach it to certain accomplishments players make? Idk if that'd be a good idea or easy at all. Like maybe one where they set their first home or claim their first land. Maybe when they fight their first mob or silk touch a first spawner. Stuff like that? Of course it's only an idea

All good ideas, but not related to music, why would you get a radio when you break a spawner? It'll probably be unlockable through a hidden NPC or something, or some kind of minigame that you have to completeThis is such a cool idea! Have a hidden npc at spawn that gives you a quest. Maybe something like bringing that npc some rare items so they would need to "craft it"
some items could be: mycelium, wither skeleton skull, sponge, emerald ore, ghast tear, ender pearl, and a note block
(just to get the boom box idk about unlocking songs)
